Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission

• Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the official submission system of Prosiding Ilmu Lingkungan.

• Only papers presented at the National Seminar on Environmental Science will be considered for publication.

• Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx).

Manuscript Structure

• Title: Clear, concise, and informative (maximum 15 words).

• Abstract: 150–250 words, including objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

• Keywords: 3–5 words/phrases relevant to the study.

• Main Text: Organized into Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion.

• Acknowledgements: Optional, for funding or institutional support.

• References: Must follow APA 7th Edition format.

Formatting Requirements

• Manuscripts must be written in English or Indonesian.

• Use Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing.

• Page length: 6–12 pages including tables and figures.

• Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and placed close to the text where they are cited.

Originality and Plagiarism

• Authors must ensure their work is original and free from plagiarism.

• Similarity checks will be conducted using Turnitin or equivalent software.

• Manuscripts with similarity index >25% will be rejected.

Authorship Criteria

• Authorship should be limited to those who made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.

• All co-authors must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission.
